Yahoo quit- this works from PC to Text. Slightly buggy but works well most of the time. Wish it had better tone options.

this was a favorite before iOS 9 came into my life. now I cant get my messages back and its pissing me off. please fix. it was a five star before.. but now its a one

Does not work well with iOS 9. Hope and update is coming soon.

This was SUCH a good app until the iOS 9 upgrade. Assuming the glitches are soon fixed, you definitely want this app. But if you have iOS 9 and download it now, youll be 100% disappointed and youll never come back. That would be a mistake.

Since update to iOS9 messages keep disappear if you leave the app open and let you phone go to sleep mode. Not acceptable. Please fix it ASAP.

This update is completely the worst that Ive experienced with this app. Messages disappear and the app closes on itself at random times.

I went through a number of IMs before finding this one. Been using this for over year and havent had any problems to speak of. Definitely worth the buy.

UODATE 07-OCT-2015: Holy cow that took a while. Id since switched to Trillian and began to really enjoy cross-platform clients. I may give this one another swirl, but it got moved to an unused app folder because I just couldnt rely upon it any more. UPDATE 15-DEC-2014: Much better! 8.5 released over weekend with "bug fixes", and it seems to have addressed the meta contact issue I was running into. Would have been happier if theyd actually bothered to reply to any of the support emails. But at least the problem is fixed now. UPDATE 03-DEC-2014: Hooray! Native resolution for iPhone 6. But my enthusiasm was quickly tempered by a horrendous bug. Replies from contacts come back as new chat sessions. I tap on a session in inbox and the wrong one comes up! I cant even tell if Im sending messages to the right people any more! Worse, it looks like Shape AG have frozen their user forums. So now all we can do is send emails into the wind?? I made an additional attempt to reinstall with the new version, but the time I set everything up from scratch instead of using iCloud sync. That has resulted in MUCH better behavior. Not sure why, but at least I can use this app again! Well now I know why. Meta contacts are seriously broken. After a few days of newly trouble free operation I merged two contacts and *BOOM*, I had the same bizarre inbox behavior I noted after first upgrading to 8.4. ORIGINAL: I began to re-examine IM clients for iOS after Beejive releases for iOS 7 started proving extremely buggy and the developer proved wholly unresponsive. I had previously tried Trillian and IM+ but found them lacking in some ways so stuck with Beejive. And this time when I tried Trillian I was pleased to learn they have added support for many additional platforms. The downside is that all but Windows seem to have serious bugs. While developers are responsive in support forums, its not really clear how soon some serious problems will actually be addressed. One wonders if they have spread themselves too thin. But my experience with this latest IM+ has proved quite positive. I have experienced no serious issues. The few things I have noticed have received quick response from support. And while there are a couple of things I wouldnt mind seeing enhanced, it is a very solid product and does what I need it to. Bravo!

Wont save conversations! It deletes them when you close the app. Wont connect half the time with and without wifi! So disappointing yahoo doesnt have more options for messenger!

The most unreliable, crashing, flaky, buggy, irritating app I have ever had on my phone. As of iOS 9 it actually loses messages without letting you see them. I didnt think there could be more bugs but they came through big!

Still broken after the iOS9 update. After you read a IM it now never acknowledges it as read and it gets to the point of 20+ unread messages and notifications even after you have reviewed them all

Still doesnt work and zero support or response from developer. As a paying customer I would suggest you continue looking for another product.

Ever since the update this app has become impossible to use. Messages received are never counted as read, messages sent either dont send or show as being sent in the conversation, the app relentlessly crashes/freezes, and the notifications/sounds do not work. Worthless

Far too many glitches now. Messages fail to appear and notifications barely work. Also, a black background on white font would be nice to have as an option again, as well as customizable backgrounds. But please fix the glitches first.

emoticon dont work cant send or recieve emoticons sometimes dont get notifications of text recieved

I was crestfallen when IMO decided to stop supporting other services. It took me forever to find an adequate replacement. I thought IM+ Pro would be that app, I was completely mistaken. Ive had to download Google Hangouts because IM+ Pro frequently crashes or neglects to give me IMs that have been sent to me. Thats unacceptable from a free app, totally deplorable form an app that I paid to use. Do yourself a favor and avoid this sham.

Im an iOS user I find its easy to connect with people that use desktop or laptop. Its an awesome idea.

The app used to work quite well, but now its glitchy and deletes messages for no reason. No thanks.
